What is a hydrostatic mower?
The hydrostatic mower is on the grass, which works more on the hydraulics system rather than using the belts and gears to start the machine. It is powered by a hydrostatic transmission, which consists of a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic engine. The pump generates the pressure flow of the oil to the engine, which in turn moves the wheels that are attached to it. Most hydrostatic gearboxes have variable pumps of shift, so you can maintain different speeds. They also work on a reversible loop system, with a fixed amount of oil contained in the pumping and engine circuit, allowing the mower to move back and forward.
As a walk or riding mower, the hydrostatic mower is most often controlled by one or two foot pedals, but some models are operated by hand levers. Some also have a cruise control function that allows the operator's foot to be removed from the pedal when mowing. These mowers are highly appreciated for EAS, which can be operated; UseElé simply step or press and go.
There are other advantages that have a hydrostatic mower above the ozed and variable speed turf. Hydrostatic gearboxes generally offer high compact power, more precisely to maintain speed and provide a wider range of speeds that can be easily controlled. Hydrostatic mowers also maneuver and react quickly, so users can easily change the instructions in tight spaces. They work equally well under wet or dry conditions and have dynamic braking, allowing very fast stops.
Hydrostatic mower requires careful maintenance. Hydraulic oil and filters must be kept clean and usually need to be changed every 500 hours, which is most often equal to once a season. The mower components must also be regularly checked and cleaned because the leaks of the hose or cracked fittings can ruin the whole system orcause the need for very expensive repairs. Despite this necessary maintenance, the hydrostatic mower is still considered to be more reliable than other types of lawns, which often experience expensive problems with components related to control and drive, as well as wear of transmission.
The disadvantages of hydrostatic mowers include a significantly higher price. It can cost up to twice as much as counterparts controlled by gear and variable speed. It is also less efficient, so it requires a more powerful engine along with more fuels than other lawns.
