What is Killdeer?

Killdeer is a kind of float that can be found abundantly throughout America. These birds are known for their penetrating crying "Dee dee" and thanks to their adaptability they can be found in a wide range of habitats and places, from distant shores to parking. Many people enjoy watching Killdeer because these birds have a characteristic way of moving that some people consider fun. They feed on insects, grubs, worms and a range of small invertebrates and look for their prey with sight. As a result, birds move in an jerky way and swing their heads when they look for food. A flock of the killer may look quite nonsensical, jerking with tiny birds and swinging through the wide stretch of Earth and exploding small quarrels as delicacies discover.

The formal name of Killdeer is Charadrius Vociferus , a reference to a penetrating scream of birds. In addition to being known for its scream, Killdeer is also known for imitating a broken wing to distract predators and other threats for their nests.
