What is the lace error?

lace errors are recognized by a fine lace look of the vein in their wings. How beautiful they are, the gardeners are not happy to find lace mistakes on their plants or trees. These mistakes damage plants and can destroy large trees in one season. There are several different types of lace errors that focus on different plants and trees.

One of the most popular types of lace errors is an oak lace error. This error is found in Alabama and the Eastern United States, from Carolinas to South Canada. Oak lace mistakes are black, with transparent wings. Their chest measures a quarter -inch length (0.635 cm). This is due to the lace error to break the epidermis of the sheet and vacuum sap. Bug Hackberry lace has black chest and white wings. It measures approximately 3/8 inches (0.95 cm) long. Sycamore lace errors are pure white and measures the eighth inch (0.32 cm) in length. In short eggplaces, they are known to destroy whole eggplants in Maryland, Oklahoma and Missouri. This type of lace error causes circular spots half -inch (1.27 cm) on the eggplant leaves. Lace egg mistakes are gray, brown and black with yellow legs.

Hawthorn lace mistakes destroy whole pink shrubs. They attack the underside of the leaves and leave yellow spots behind. Bug Hawthorn Lace can be found throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. They attack Hawthorn, Cotoneaster, Button Bush, Quince and Apple Rose shrubs. They are eighth inch (0.32 cm) long with black chest, brown wings and yellow legs and antennas.

lace errors can be prevented by planting trees and plants into the shatier areas of the courtyard. Lace errors prefer bright, sunny areas. If lace errors are recorded in spring, spray nymphs from the leaves with hard water before they can connectto the underside.

If lace is contaminated, try using insecticidal soap. It is most effective when sprayed directly to the underside of the leaves, where lace errors are attached. If it is ineffective, chemical applications are required. Acephate, carbency, chlorpyrifos and Malathion are effective against lace contamination. It is best to prevent infestation before it happens as soon as the damage is caused before the lace errors are detected.
