What is abronia?
abronia is a flowering plant that is originally in warm, tropical climate and sandy or desert areas. These herbal plants come from the Western United States and in parts of Canada and Mexico. Depending on the variety of plants, abronia grows as annual or permanent, and during the summer season clusters bloom pink, purple, white and yellow flowers in the shape of a snowball. Abronia comes from Nyctaginaceae or from a family of four hours of herbal plants. These types of garden plants earned four hours, because their flowers usually open during the late afternoon, then they are coming in the next morning. Some gardeners can choose varieties such as Abronia Fragrans, Abronia Umbellata, Abronia Latifolia and Abronia Maritima. Abronia Fragrans include white, sweet scented floral clusters found in sandy foothills and soils. This fragrant wild lantan, which also passes through the name Sweet Sand Verbena, is best with low water and full of sunlight.Seeds for Abronia can also be sown in spring in time for summer growth, but the seeds must soak up in the water up to eight hours before planting.
Abronia umbellata also identifies as Verbena beach sand, pink sand Verbena and purple sand Verbena. This annual herbal plant originates along the beaches of the Pacific Coast Region and ranging from the British Columbia in Canada to California, United States. Its green diamond -shaped leaves are mainly along coastal dunes, and bright pink flowers appear from summer to autumn.
abronia latifolia has yellow, snow clumps of flowers, earning the common name of the yellow sand plants verbena. This variety is also called Verbena Coast Sand because it grows along the coast as theathetic types of sand-verbena. These perennials are usually discontinued with seed dispersion and can grow up to six feet (about 1.82 m). Like the other sand-verbEny, and the type of latifolia blooms its yellow flowers during the hot weather season. Sweet smelling of flowers attracts butterflies, so plants are ideal for planting in butterfly gardens in addition to sand areas.
Verbena's red sand, scientifically known as Abronia Maritima, grows with green, oval leaves lying in a straight position and earns a "beach pancake" on the nickname. Floral colors such as red, wine and purple usually decorate this variety. Verbena's red sand flowers tend to appear at any time from the end of winter to the beginning of the autumn season and are natives of southern California and Mexico.
