What is a mosaic virus?

mosaic virus is a type of plant virus that is transmitted by a certain insect. In general, a mosaic virus affects any kind of cultivated crop of vine, including cucumbers, squash, melons, pumpkins and gourd. Plants that are infected with this type of virus are generally lost.
