What is a terrace wall?

Terraces add a comfortable space for dinner, drinks or just relaxation in the sun. When designing space on the terrace, many builders decided to install a terrace wall that can serve several functions: if the backyard is not flat, the terrace wall may act as a support wall to prevent the ground from falling into the terrace; The wall may be purely decorative and may contain lights, growers or other aesthetic accessories; Or can be built on a terrace wall to increase privacy or avoid unwanted visitors. The walls can be made of different materials and very often the walls of the walls are selected in accordance with the materials used to create the terrace itself.

The patio wall is often built only on the height of the knee and is mostly decorative, but some shorter walls are also used as retaining walls for oblique areas. Such walls are often made of concrete, stone or bricks, because these materials are effective in holding the weight of the ground around the terrace. DeCorrect walls can be made of tiles, often from the same tiles that are used to produce the terrace itself. More than one wall can be built around the perimeter of the terrace, which effectively defines the terrace from the rest of the yard. Some walls on the terrace may contain built -in lighting systems, pots for plants or other aesthetic or functional elements.

The higher version of the Patio wall can be built for privacy. Such walls are commonly made of wood or vinyl, because these materials are cheaper and easier to work with than with stone, concrete or bricks. Wooden fence is a good choice because it is easy to work with and can be painted or dyed to match the aesthetics of the terrace area. Vinyl is another wise choice, because unlike wood, vinyl may not be treated or painted and maintenance is easy and fast. Vinyl must only be regularly cleaned with a hose or soapy water. Howeverto install more than wood.

Some versions of the Patio wall can be built to include bench seating. This is done by changing the height of the wall and placing long, flat stones or even flat parts of bricks or concrete regularly along the wall. Seating can be designed to protrude from the wall, while the rest of the wall provides back support.
