What is percheron?

Percheron is a very old and right of the famous breed of a French horse. Many people are familiar with percherons, although they may not be aware of it, because these horses are often used to pull cars for novelty and appear in the advertisements and logos of society quite often, especially in the United States. This ancient breed of the horse was almost lost in the mid -20th century, when the horses were replaced by cars, leading to a decline in demand for horses, but fortunately it was rescued by devoted fans in France and abroad. In fact, the beginnings of Percheron are a bit shrouded in mystery, because the breed before the data studbooks and organized horse breeding in Europe. Historical records show that the Percheron have been used as military horses since the Middle Ages and the breed may be even older. Modern PercherProto comes from very different blood. These horses also have incredible endurance and are remarkably agile and certainly for the dated breed. These horses have a very muscular hind limbs, dlomob, strong necks and blocked heads with large eyes and small ears. Their tails tend to be cropped for farms, but when they can grow, they are long, wavy and surprisingly silky.

As with other design horses, Percheron is known for having a very friendly disposition. They are very fine, even with small children and nervous livestock and many of them are also quite friendly and curious. These features have made Percheron popular for centuries, because horses will be patiently standing and tolerating boring conditions and inexperienced operation with a remarkable balance.

In the 18th century Percheron began to export in large numbers to the United States, where it quickly exceeded other breeds describing by about three to one. Percheron might have been particularly well suitable for the United States because the horse can handle a wide range of weather conditions and the demand between farmers for these horses was hIstistically relatively high.

Today, Percheroni is used primarily as horses and sometimes they can see how they pull prams, often in teams of glass gray or blacks. On farms still used by horses to work in the United States, Percheron continues to dominate the field, and these horses are also widely used to work in France and in some parts of Europe. Several organizations of enthusiastic are sponsored by regular meetings of Percheron and their owners, some of which include Percheron demonstrations before the plow and in the harness.
