What is Snuggie ™?
Some merchants stand out first selling consumers a previously unknown problem, and then offer previously invisible solutions to this problem for one incredibly low price. This is the case of a new form of a blanket known as Snuggie ™. This product includes excessive sleeves that allow the wearer to use hands without completely expanding the blanket. The blanket can be worn around the house as a robe, although no device closure is included in the design. The wearers can also enjoy snacks without having to unpack the whole blanket. The blanket is designed to be one size that fits all, thanks to its extra long length and excessive holes with the sleeve. The fabric is described as a plush fleece, although it is not as thick as the traditional blanket. The fleece material used in the structure is closer to the thin foaming blankets, which often occur on the hotels of Beds.
Snuggie ™ has become laidLook after the release and repeated broadcast of unforgettable, albeit somewhat bizarre television ads. Commercial depicted members of the extended family who enjoyed the benefits of the product, from a mother who spoke by phone from her father who used her laptop over a blanket. Younger children were seeing books or eating snacks while wearing them. At one point, the whole family sits in stands, each wearing snuggie ™, with a more than an occasional similarity to masked monks in robes.
Because of this ubiquitous and tirelessly positive television advertising, the blanket has become the aim of many social scientists and satirists. One popular video parody transmits the original sound sound with a new voice promoting the cult of Snuggie ™. Others have commented on the dubious sale of the product tactics, because the cost of transport and handling almost corresponds to the price of the product itself. There are also critics who question the need for a product that allegedly solves a non -existent problem.
Snuggie ™, however, may not be the first of its kind. Another inventor successfully launched a blanket with sleeves called a few years ago, but has a higher retail price and is sold only through reserved television shopping networks such as QVC. The success of Slanket ™ has most likely encouraged competitors such as Snuggie ™ to enter the specialized consumer market that enjoy the "Cloisted Monk" fashion school.
