What is the staircase?

The staircase is a structure that consists of a set of steps or a few steps to connect vertical distances. The inner staircase is most often found in the building as a hole in the floor and allows the individual to move up or down in the building. In general, the staircases include all landings that lead to another flight from one step in the building. The staircases are sometimes called stairs, staircases or just stairs.

Sometimes the staircases are placed outside. For example, the home staircase can be built into the side of the house and leading from the balcony or deck to the courtyard below it. Outdoor staircases are also sometimes built into hills, mountains or outdoor places such as stadiums and amphitheaters. The circular staircase is usually referred to as a spiral staircase. The staircases must follow some measurements to ensure that it is not too steep or too narrow and that it is safe to use. These measurements are usually specified in building code.

Most of the staircases consist of steps and balustrade. Steps include tread and riser. The tread is part of the step on which the individual puts their weight, and the riser is part of the step between the treads. The balustrade includes the staircase railing and all the vertical pins that hold the railing. The balustrades are designed to prevent individuals from dipping the staircase.

Firefighting is basically a fire staircase consisting of ladders, staircases or emergency doors. Fire escapes are commonly found on multi -level flats or condoms buildings and are designed to allow individuals to leave the building if there is a fire or other emergency situation. The fire escapes is usually separated from the main part of the building. In older buildings it is even found outside the building.

instead of staircases or in addition to staircases, some buildings are equipped with elevators, escalators and staircases. Lifts areplatforms or cages that are mechanically lifted or reduced for the purpose of transporting people or objects from one level to another. The escalators move on the ladder staircases, which continuously circulate on the belt. The staircase elevator is a mechanical device designed to move the wheelchairs up or down the flight of the stairs. The staircase elevator usually contains a chair that is connected to the staircase railing, and allows the individual to be elevated or reduced as the chair goes along the railing.
