What is Thunderbird?

Thunderbird is a large, winged creature that is allegedly similar to the prehistoric Pterosaur and was seen in North America. Thunderbird is part of the Indian folklore and also the subject of studying in cryptozoology. The cryptozoolologist, John Keel, mapped the placement of various Thunderbird observations across the US and noted that they correspond to the storm patterns across the country. For years, rumors spread that there was an accompanying photograph of captivity and was handed over before it eventually lost sometime in the sixties. To date, alleged photography has not appeared.

In 1977, a man named John Huffer took several photos of two big birds who flew from a tree. Although the observations were mentioned Discovery Channel on their show, in the unknown , the birds in the photos were rejected as vultures rather than Thunderbirds. Thunderbird observation continued to the new millennium, including observations of 2002 in Alaska, where witnesses claimed to have seen a large, flying creature with a span of about 14 feet (4.2 m). In 2004, a student in South California also said he sees an unusually large creation flying over the suburban region that corresponded to the description of Thunderbird.

Thunderbird was compared with a wandering Albatros, which has a comparable range of 12 feet (3.7 m), as well as other large birds such as the Andean Condor and California condor. Unlike animals, which may face small animals in the middle of the flight, it has been reported that Thunderbird really raises deer and even people from the ground.

Some theorized that Thunderbird is a type of pterosaur, such as pterodactyl, which survived the prehistoric age, while others suggest that it could be a type of condor or excess vulture. In response to skeptics who claim that a bird with 15 feet (4.6 m) wings could not fly, scientists point out that the biggest flying creatures in history, quetzalcoatlus northropi, had a span of 25-60 feet (7,6-18,3 m).

Since Thunderbird has not been proven, it remains only a kind of speculation and associates with other flying crypts like Mothman and Jersey Devil.
