What is a trombone concert?
Zrombon is a brass tool that uses a slip to extend the length of the tube and reduce the spacing of the note with tenor or bass range. The concert with Trombon is a musical work, which usually writes in three or four movements in which a solo thrombon player combines with an orchestra by dealing with a musical dialogue or playing unlike other instruments. Thrombons were sometimes used in the Baroque period in composer works such as Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frederic Handel, but the trombone was first used as a solo instrument in the concerts of Austrian composers Johann Georg Albrechtsberger, Leopold Mozart and Johann Michael Haydn, brother Joseph Haydn. In the 19th century, some romantic composers expressed themselves through a concert with Trombon and the use of this form of music continued until the 21st century with works by composers such as Christopher Rouse.
Johann Georg Albrechtsberger's Classical Terem Concerto for Alto Trombone and Orchestra is still popular with Trombonists onthe beginning of the 21st century. Albrechtsberger was a music theory master who gave Beethoven lessons in the counterpoint and brought his music theory championship to carry in his compositions. Trombon was a relatively agile tool compared to trumpets and corners of that time, and Albrechtsberger saw its potential as a solo instrument. Johann Michael Haydn wrote a concert in 1764, although - strictly - it is a collection of movements by Divertimento . There is also a trombone concert from Leopold Mozart from the same period, although it actually consists of some movements extracted from the serenade designed for a number of different soloists.
An example of a concert with a trombone from the romantic period is Ferdinand David's Concertino for Trombone and Orchestra , which was Written in 1837 and maintained its popularity over the years. Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov later wrote a concert for Trombone and a military group. At the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, TMBonist Eugene Reich composedConcert for trombone. It was Concert No. 2 V and for the trombone and piano , which continued the repertoire of thrombonists throughout the 20th century.
In the 20th century, the trombone concert has more diverse forms, because individual composers have imposed their own interpretations on the form. In 1943, Nathaniel Shilkret wrote a concert for Trombone in three movements for the famous musician Tommy Dorsy. This musical work can be described as a cross between classical and jazz, with classic first movement, the second Blues style movement and the third movement in the style of Boogie-Woogie. On the other hand, composer Christopher Rouse wrote a trombone concert in 1991 dedicated to Leonard Bernstein's memory. Thje a much grim work consisting of two adagio movements of separate scherzo , the final is in the form of a burial march.
