What is an altan saxophone?
Alto saxophone is a wind tool that falls into the Woodwinds family. These types of saxophones have a curved body shape with many padded keys and a mouthpiece equipped with a reed that makes sound. They are usually made of brass and give them a yellow look, but some saxophones are made of nickel and have silver colors. Compared to other types of saxophones, it is a medium saxophone and is a type of saxophones that play the most. It is higher than tenor and baritone saxophones and lower than soprano saxophones. The famous Alto Saxophone players include John Zorn, Charlie Parker and Cannonball Adderley.
Like other types of saxophones, Alto saxophone is part of the Woodwind family family. Most Woodwinds are grouped into this family because they use a wooden piece known as reeds to produce the vibrations needed to sound the tool. The exception of this is the flute that uses a breath blowing through a hole, such as Nae by blowing over the top of the bottle to create a sound. There is a flute in the Woodwind family because the early flutes were the obvYkle wood, but modern flutes are most often made of metal. The saxophone is sometimes called a saxophone in short.
In the family of common saxophones, Alto produces the medium range of sound. It has a lower range than a straight soprano sax. Alto saxophone is taller than tenor and baritone saxophones. With saxophones, the larger the size of the device, the lower the sound range, so alt saxophones are larger than soprano saxophones, but smaller than tenor and baritone tools.
