What is the American bulldog?
American bulldog has a persistent, hardworking character of early American colonists who brought their predecessors from England. The American Bulldog, classified as a working dog, is loved for his friendly, loyal temperament and effort for work, hunting and guard. Although the American bulldog has many differences from its ancestors, it is most related to the old English bulldog.
Bulldogs were brought to America by early colonists from England and were used on farms and settlements to hunt squirrels, bears, wild pigs and pigs; to drive cattle and protect herds from predators.
