What is the side motive?
The motive is the reason for a person to do something. A side motive is a motive that differs from or for an expressed or apparent motif. A term generally means fraud or intention to hide the real motivation of a person.
While one can have many reasons for the action, his side motive will reflect the real thing he is trying to achieve. It is usually the most important for all its reasons and is the most accurately its own goals and desires.
For example, a side motive of politics is often to ensure its re -election. He can participate in a charity event with an apparent motif of money for this matter. However, his real intention may be to obtain voter support, so they are more likely to vote for him. If he asks, he probably quotes his desire to support charity before the desire to create a positive image.
This does not mean that he is not interested in supporting the event in which he is participating. He can care very much. Just take care of more re -election. Alternatively, a politician can participateSuch events simply because he wants to raise money or awareness for charity. People may suspect that it has a side motif, though not.
The side motive usually remains hidden. This can be caused by a number of factors. A person may feel that the expression of his real motive is poorly reflected on him or may be embarrassed. Alternatively, he may be aware of not getting what he needs if others are aware of their real motive.
However, the presence of a side motif does not always mean fraud. In fact, this can be clearly mentioned in advance. One party can offer additional assistance, support or financing and state that it does so because it will need the help of the other party later. This is still a side motive, because using the first page does not provide help purely to the other side. It does it for some reason outside the immediate or obvious reason. The side motif can also be uncovered without being hidden. For example, both sides in the previous example may be aware that the party only helps the party two to gain help in the future. The real motif may not be expressed, but neither side tries to deceive the party two.
