What is Cistus?

These plants come from the Canary Islands and countries bordering on the Mediterranean Sea. They have clear five -layer flowers in white and purple shades. In some species, the petals have dark red spots on the base. These flowering plants are commonly called rockrose. These flower plants between May and June.
