What is Crown Forming?

Crown pressing is a decorative type of lining, which is usually used to align the area where the ceiling of the house meets the wall. It is originally used in a late Renaissance when used to cover imperfections in this area. Although this lining can still be used for this purpose, it is usually installed to add a touch and style to the room.

This molding can be purchased from almost any store with a wide range of sizes and designs. It may be simple or may contain complex patterns, with abstract lines and pictures of leaves and other plant parts most common. After reaching the right cuts, the molding is simply nailed to the place and painted or stained to match the decoration.
