What is Deutzia?

Deutzia is a family of plants in the Hydrangeaeae family. Deutzias are persistent shrubs that usually grow 2 to 6 feet (0.6 to 1.8 meters) high. Most of the deutzia are deciduous plants, although they are found among subtropical species. The species in the genus usually have cascade white or pink flowers that grow in free, terminal clusters and bloom from the end of spring to early summer. Flowers are also non -allergenic.
