What is dmort?

and DMORT is a team for an operational reaction to disasters, a group of individuals who cooperate on dealing with bulk death incidents. In the United States, Dmorts come from 10 regions and the DMORT system supervises the Ministry of Health and Human Services. DMORT can also travel at the international level for humanitarian work to help with bulk deaths in countries that may have difficulty solving such events themselves.

The DMORT concept was developed in the 80s, in response to concern about concerns about how mass death were. Members of the victim's family often complained about this process, the feeling that it was too slow and that they were not treated with respect, and the concept of the development of a specialized team that could deploy in the disaster place was developed.
