What is ecotage?

Ecotage is a term used to indicate a direct measure taken on behalf of the environment. The word is portmanteau "sabotage" and prefixes "Eco-" and aims to separate eco-friendly from other sabotage acts that could focus on achieving other goals. Some people also refer to ecotion as Ecodefense or Monkeywrenching. Opponents of activities often refer to ecoterrorism. One of the representative groups that practices a large amount of ecotation is the queue of the country's liberation, a radical organization that focuses on trying to stop the use of the environment.

The concept of ecoting has become particularly popular in the age of 70, when radical activism and direct actions have become much more popular. Many ecoting experts started with things like civil disobedience, and later it was decided that only a direct action would work. Ecotage supporters claim to be a quick and effective method for stopping things like protocoling while civil disobedience drought as a tree seating and blockLogging roads are just momentary roadblocks. Opponents claim that the remaining law is ultimately more efficient because it allows both sides of the problem to encounter in the middle.

ecotation acts differ in the range. In 1975, Edward Abbey wrote a book called The Monkeywrench Gang , a piece of alleged fiction about ecotagia with relatively detailed instructions. The book describes deeds such as putting sugar into the gas tanks, burning billboards and blowing dams, illustrating some of the larger types of ecotation. All actions of ecotation are designed to cause considerable damage to property, with hope of economic punishment, or paralyzing people and companies that abuse the environment.

Theoretically, ecotation is non -violent because it is not intended to cause life loss or injury. However, some actions of ecotation may have potentially fatal coney. For example, tree tips MoHou be very dangerous for wood and mill staff unless the tip is caught in time. Glowing in the field of apartment construction is also potentially risky because fire can spread or injure the guards in place.

The

opponents in the environmental movement believe that ecoation ultimately undermines the objectives of environmentalists and environmental groups. Ecotage is certainly illegal, and although it is not representative for the entire environmental movement, it can be used to tar peace and laws. Fans of ecotage suggest that life and the environment are generally more important than damage to property. Like other radical acts resulting from frustration with more common means to express displeasure, Ecotage certainly abandons the public's attention.
