What is Golden Wattle?

Golden Wattle is a type of plant from Australia. The Golden Wattle appeared as a large shrub or tree and got its name from the distinctive golden flowers hanging from his branches beginning early in the spring. The Golden Wattle was called an Australian floral emblem and was considered an Australian national flower for more than a century, although it was not officially recognized as such until 1988.
