What is the heat?

Thermal lightning is a flash of lighting that appears near the horizon, usually without any accompanying thunder. This is due to distant storms and is normally associated with summer storms when temperatures are warm and therefore "heat" on behalf of. Thermal flashes can be seen in many regions of the world, especially in areas where there are ordinary summer storms and mountain areas. It is not the same as a cloud flash, also called Lightning leaf, a form of lightning that drains inside the cloud, causing the cloud to turn on.

Sometimes Lightning warms up at all, but a cloud bounce of lightning from a very distant storm. In other cases, it is a common flash that has created far in the distance, so a flash instead of recognizable flash. Especially when dark clouds accumulate near the horizon, the heating flash can really stand out and the absence of a thund can cause it to make it very scary. Sometimes takes on a reddish cast, thanks to a reflected and bent light.

There are a number of reasons why thermal lighting is often accompanied by thunder. First, sometimes the storm is just too far to hear thunder. In other cases, the thunder is muted by weather conditions. The particles in the air and heavy clouds can dampen the sound of thunder and thunder can also be disturbed by large ground masses such as mountains. In mountain areas, thermal lightning can come from a storm that is actually very close, but acoustics changes sound waves, damping or redirects. Lightning without thunder may seem somewhat unbelievable and it can be very surprising without the audible assault of the thunder.

Sometimes, heating lightning indicates that the storm is on the way. If the storm usually comes from the south and, for example, in the south, lightning is seen in the south, it means that Storm can carry to the north and bring lightning, thunder and rain. In other cases, a distant storm will never reach the observer, even if he can introduce the show.

STLike other forms of lightning, the bulb can be dangerous, especially for people who do not realize how close the storm is. When watching heat, it may be interesting, it is good to go inside or if the storm moves to the area, and people who are visually impaired can appreciate warning from friends and neighbors who have noticed lighting.
