What is inherited?
There is an ancient expression found in several books of the Old Testament, which means that the sinful actions of fathers (ancestors) will continue to persecute their sons (descendants). In essence, it is a prescription for inherited by fault , a state in which future generations continue to carry certain feelings of responsibility for the actions of its predecessors. For example, the practice of slavery and its degrading effects on slaves offspring is often mentioned as a case of inherited guilt for white people. Due to the ancestors of the original ancestors of humanity, future generations must assume inherited guilt for the betrayal of God's orders. According to some Jewish-Christian philosophies, mankind must live in the sinful world of apoccation for the original sin committed by Adam and Eva. While some offspring of slaves or indigenous Americans can seek official apology or even financial compensation for the sins of the past, others feel that it would be unfair to get one generation to atone for their ancestors by using the feeling of inherited guilt.
There are also several different approaches to the concept of inherited guilt from the original fall of man. Some Christians believe that the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God manifests itself in human form, has completely repaired the tearing between God and man, and we are already burdened with inherited fault. Others propose to mankind are still burdened with sinful nature and inherited by, but the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ has created a new treaty between God and those who actively seek forgiveness.
Some believe that inherited guilt should be allowed to die natural death over generations. Modern Germans who live with an inherited fault of Hitler's genocidal regime or Russians who have lost their ancestors in Stalin's cleaning should have the opportunity to recover from the sins of their fathers to continue their life in the shadow of inherited guilt.
