What is levitation?

The term levitation comes from the Latin word "Levitas", which means "lightness". Levitation refers to the process of gravity resistant object and is most often used in a paranormal or metaphysical context to describe an object that seems to rise in the air. In a scientific context, levitation is technically achieved on aircraft, such as using aerodynamic forces or on small objects such as magnets. The illusion of levitating people is often conjured as part of a magical or illusionist show, through manipulation with lighting and other special effects.

Hinduism is assumed that the strength of levitation is achieved by mystical means by some Hindu guru who managed the philosophy of yoga. In 1936, Yogi Subbayah Pulvavar reportedly levitated 150 witnesses for four minutes ago, while in trance and horizontal position. Other practice known as "yogic bouncy" is sometimes referred to as levitation, but according to the definition is technically not qualified. Yogic withBaging or flying involves meditation and jumping on the knees on wheels in the lotus position.

Christianity includes several reports on levitation, such as the accounts of the New Act on Christ's ability to walk on the water and its rise to heaven. It is also said that several saints were also levitated, including St. Joseph of Cupertin, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Philip of Neri, St. John of the Cross and St. Martín de Porres. On the opposite side of the Christian spectrum, levitation was also attributed to a demonic possession, such as Clara German cell from 1906, a young girl who allegedly levitated in South Africa, and could only be brought to the ground by accepting the Holy Water.

also reportedly levitated as part of spiritual seans; However, the main travelers on medium levitation have been revealed as similar to illusionist shows that include stage tricks such as wires and klaDky. Psychokinetics also claim to be able to levitate itself or other objects. One such psychokinetic, Nina Kulagina, levitated small objects such as wine glasses and table tennis balls in controlled environments where scientists watched it.

One theory that holds some physics concerning human levitation is that many can penetrate the level of energy with zero point, the lowest possible energy level held by quantum mechanical physical system, while in the changed state of consciousness.
