What is Snuba®?
Snuba® is a term derived from a combination of snorkel and diving and is related to a certain approach to underwater swimming. As with many forms of underwater activity, Snuba® diving includes the use of diving mask, swimming fins and the use of air tanks. However, the art of Snuba® differs a bit from the snorkeling techniques and diving. After diving, the diver wear the air tank. With Snuba®, the air tank remains on the surface of the water. The tanks are located in pontoon rafts, with a safe air tube running from the tanks to the respiratory device worn by the Snuba® diver. Because the tanks can move freely on the water, the diver is not burdened by the presence of tanks on his back and has a wide range of movement underwater. For new divers, the Snuba® Metod can also carry a certain degree of security. Because the hose provides a direct reference to the surface, it is likely that the newcomer will feel ground and connected when it gets used to looking under water. At the same time will also have to be aware ofNEC Snuba® to entangle the air hose or hose in any obstacles.
Snuba® diving also facilitates the entrance process and out of the water. While the air tanks do not pose a big problem with the weight in the water, heavy tanks may be difficult to immerse during preparation and when climbing back into the ship after dive. Since the diver does not have to deal with overweight, people who can carry minor muscle mass can enjoy diving the Snuba®.
Another advantage of Snuba® diving is the fact that the depth of the dive is limited to the length of the air hose. In general, it means much less chance that a newcomer is engaged in any decompression disease known as The Bends. However, Snuba® carries the same level of risk as diving in terms of potential for air embolism. In both cases, a gradual output when venting the expanding volume of gas is necessary to avoid the problem.
Snuba® is not aimed to replace diving diving. However, this approach is a great way to get used to the idea of using the respiratory apparatus when looking below the water level. Snuba® does not require a comprehensive educational program or certification, so learning the foundations and engaging in operation can be achieved in a very short period of time.
