What is that that is that?
Stigging is a method used to spread some plants. It includes planting runners or rhizomes of certain plants instead of seeds. Then it is necessary to ensure that it is successful. After being planted in the soil, then new runners and new vegetation go. The preference time to make it specific is usually at the beginning of spring. Bermuda varieties, centipedes and St. Augustine is some of the grasses that can be discontinued by this method. Five to ten sprogs, depending on the type of grass, are usually required to cover about 1,000 square feet (305 square meters).
The stipper is usually obtained in one of the two ways. Individual patients can obtain them by manual selection of individual roots and runners from pieces of sod. However, most people consider it too time consuming and instead decide to buy SPLIGS. They can be purchased from horticultural catalogs or some kindergartens.
Before bridging, the soil must first be prepared. Furrows that are about 1 inch (2.5 CEntimeters) deep and about 2 inches (5 centimeters) apart, should be dug first, either by hand or machine. Then many experts agree that the fertilizer rich in phosphorus should be extended to help develop a healthy root system.
The stippers are then placed in these furrows and placed several inches (7.6 centimeters) apart. The stips that are located closer together will usually result in a faster lawn. After being put in the furrow, the topsoil should be plunged on it. It can then be used on the lawn to push the soil down, which can help ensure that the reduction does not flood or throw away.
The area must then be regularly connected and protected after rewinding. Watering with a light spray several times a day should be enough. Watering should be avoided, but the soil should also not be allowed to dry. A fence or string around can also help protect twigs from wdumping or digging curious animals or children. New growth should be observed within two months.
As well as other methods of promotion, transfer has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, it is usually more economical than other methods and offers a better chance of developing healthy roots. On the other hand, it is a little more difficult to take care of this area and may take several weeks to see the results.
