What is the stucco?

The first layer of UCCO is called scratch. The brush is used for scratches on the surface, usually at the intersection or horizontal pattern. This layer must dry completely before applying the second layer.

Another layer is a brown coat or a leveling coat that is leveled and scraped smooth and left to dry for a week to 10 days to allow cracking and reduction. If the weather is very dry, the stucco layers will be sprayed with water to dry too soon and be fragile.

The last layer is called the target coat and can be one of two types. The color coat is colored pigments and can be textured. The acrylic surface is based on acrylic, thinner than a color coat and is used for long -term quality.

During the Renaissance, the Italians used stucco techniques and then the use of a process extended throughout Europe. At that time, the stucco previously used by the ancient Romans and Greeks for painting-Religious gypsum made of marble dust, adhesive and plaster-shells were formed into decorative shapes and then polished until or painted.
