What is Amber Room?
Amber the room concerns a beautiful room made of prehistoric substances, amber and almost countless jewelry. It is a popular theme of many historians because it is one of the great secrets of the 20th century. The room was commissioned by King Frederick of Prussia in the 18th century, but many of the craftsmen participated took much longer to finish the room than they had hoped. Eight years after the Commission, King Frederick was dead and his successor, King Frederick William I, was indifferent to the beauty and craft of numerous amber panels. As an act of diplomacy, Frederick William, I gave peace to Peter Great Russia. The only problem of this choice was that amber panels made in the Prussian were smaller than the dimensions of the room, and the craftsmen, and especially those who are qualified in mosaics, were invited to work on the project and create more panels dotted with stone. When he was finally finished and placed in the Catherine Palace, Amber Room was reported to enter into shining gold.
Unfortunately, although Amber Room decorated the Catherine Palace until World War II, it should not have remained forever. When Germany attacked the Soviet Union during World War II, attempts were to try to remove panels from the Catherine Palace, but were unsuccessful. Germany took Amber Room as a whole and exhibited it for a year at Konigsberg Castle in 1942.
It is when the mystery of the room really excite the conspiracy theorists and historians. Allied forces bombed the area around Konigsberg and there are several different stories about what happened to "save" the room. Some of the Acroclations claim that the soldiers received orders to completely destroy the room, and others say that the room was excreted by various Nazi army soldiers. Both stories can be right. Several mosaics have appeared over the years, but most Amber's rooms have either been destroyed or remained hidden or buried.
in PO afterRusko has started a huge project, the reconstruction of Amber Room, which is now located at the Catherine Palace and opened for public visits. When people look at the honey colors of the reconstruction, which is, according to all accounts, as an original room, they must still be surprised where the original Amber room went. This is a secret that we may never fully know, but it has certainly been the subject of many authors, with many theories advanced about the hidden existence of the original.
