What is the behavior of chimpanzees?

The behavior of chimpanzees is very different depending on which of the two types of chimpanzees is being considered - a common chimpanzee (Mr. Troglodytes), who lives north of the Congo River, and Bonobo (Mr. Paniskus), who lives south. Although these chimpanzees are almost indistinguishable anatomically-asi £ 75-155 (35-70 kg), standing at 0.9-1.2 m (3-4 ft) in height, with an average lifetime of 30-40- Hunting in units lives common chimpanzees in tribes led by alpha male and are characterized by complex social relations, similar to situations with people. Among these chimpanic societies, as in many others, rape and murder are commonplace. Ordinary chimpanzees are much more aggressive than Bonobos and is known to attack and kill people occasionally. This is not very difficult if one is unarmed because chimpanzees have more than 5 Times the power of the upper body of a typical human man. These chimpanzees are omnipotent and have a large amount of meat in their diet.

Unlike conventional chimpanzees, Bonobo chimpanzee is mostly vegetarian, non -violent, matriarchial and is known for its sexual sensitivity. The reason for this substantial difference in behavior in that it is not entirely known. Bonobo Šimpanz has a proportionally longer limbs than a normal chimpanzee, adapted to digest more time in trees where they eat fruit. Bonobos has a slightly lighter assembly than ordinary chimpanzees. This is because neither hunts nor fight as often as ordinary chimpanzees.

The

chimpanzees of both species are highly intelligent, one of the smartest animals except humans. Like other large apes (gorillas and orangutans), chimpanzees are tool users, able to build their own basic tools and use them in the culturally specific ways. Before using the tool in chimpanzees, it was assumed that only people were able to use tools. Like humans, chimpanzees are aware of status and are able to manipLace and fraud. They take steps for both usefulness and social display. Tests to know chimpanzees have found that they can use symbols and can understand some aspects of language, including relational syntax and concepts of numerical sequences.

chimpanzees are capable of empathy and can produce laughter similar vocalizations that have fired the aristotle that "only a human animal is laughing". Chimpanzees are one of the few species that can pass the mirror test, ie they recognize the dot on the forehead when looking in the mirror. This is considered an important indicator of self -confidence.
