What is the badminton game?

Like the tennis game, the badminton game is a missile sport played by players who stand on the opposite sides of the pure struggle through a rectangular court. Other similarities are the number of players: two competitors in singles and four in doubles. In both sports, singles play in a narrower court than double and doubles can share the court side by side or front and back. Most other aspects of sport are different.

The official badminton court is less than a tennis court. While the tennis court is 27 feet wide (8.23 m) for singles and 36 feet (10.97 m) wide for double and 78 feet (23.77 m) long, badminton court is only 44 feet (13.4 m) long and 17 feet (5.18 m) wide for individual and 20 feet (6.1 m) So, while the tennis singles player covers 2106 square feet (195.6 m2), the singles player in badminton covers only 748 square feet (69.4 m2), about a third of the area. Badminton is also played carelessly in the courtyards and on the beaches, for the exdostat.

While tennis players bounce the ball over the net that slips on the ground, badminton players work to keep the missile center, bat it over a net that is 5 feet 1 V (1.55 meters) on the edges and 5 feet (1.524 meters) in the middle. Shuttlecock, or birdie, made from a peer -ring base, is so light that the wind can have a great effect on it, so most of the competitions hold inside.

In badminton, most points are rated as a rally result, a series of shuttlecock hits over the net. The game is won with 21 points and matches consist of three games. Players get a point for the rally if they hit the missile network legally through the net in such a way that it is not legally returned. The point is evaluated on the rally if the shuttlecock:

• hits the floor in the borders of the court before the player reaches her,
• It is hit by a succumb to the net rather than over it,
• is sent outside the opponent's boundaries,
• They are insertedn more than once before the network handover,
• It is more affected than hit
• Hit the ceiling

There are also some specific service disorders that lead to the opponents scoring. These include serving Shuttlecock from a point of higher than the server's passport, a rocket that is not tilted down at the time of service, the initial strike on feathers rather than from the base of the rocket, the inability to serve in the rival service area, etc.

Badminton has been an Olympic sport since 1992, after being a demonstration sport in 1972 and 1988. It is played in five events: male singles, male doubles, female singles, female doubles and mixed doubles, each team formed by one man and one woman. Several other international tournaments are also held.
