What is Jesus the lizard?

Jesus Lizard is a nickname given by the common lizard Basilisk, also called Green Basilisk. The nickname is derived from the unique ability of the lizard to walk through the water and refers to the biblical story of Christ, who exceeds the Galilean Sea.
