What is Mandarin Duck?

Mandarin duck is a type of duck that is close to the North American wooden duck. Male Mandarin ducks have a very distinctive color pattern, including bright orange sails and rainbow ridge. These types of ducks come from many parts of East Asia, but can now be found in many other parts of the world. Mandarin ducks prefer water sites near trees because they feed on soil and nest in trees. Like wooden duck, it is also very colorful. In fact, many scientists believe that Mandarin Duck is one of the most beautiful ducks in the world. It has a reddish account and face with white stripes over the eyes that run to the back of the head. The feathers on top of the head are green and red and point to the tensile back and form a comb. His breasts are usually purple or chestnut color and are covered with black and white stripes. The tail and back are usually dark brown color with rainbow blue and green mixed all the time and the underside of this duck is usually light.

Probably the most prominent feature of male Mandarin ducks are two bright orange sails on both sides of the back. However, after a period of reproduction, a man of this kind will melt and lose most of his significant color. At this point, it looks very similar to the female Mandarin duck, which is usually gray and white. However, a man and a woman can still be different from each other because a man retains a red account, a prominent comb and two large sails on both sides.

Mandarin duck is indigenous for many parts of Asia, especially East Asia. Today, however, the small Paluy of this duck can also be found on other continents, including Europe and North America. It is usually assumed that these populations have become introduced after several Mandarin ducks escaped from captivity in these areas. In general, Mandarin Ducks settles in any area similar to their native station.

Mandarin ducks usually prefersettle near water bodies near the forests. These ducks often feed on small fish and various types of vegetation and insects. They also produce their nests in hollow cavities on trees, where they put the clutches of eggs.
