What is the residual community?
The residual community is the Christian Church, which at the age of 90 began with Gwen Shamblin, a dietologist. Many members of the community called her prophetic. Shamblin initially gained popularity with her book, The Weight Down Diet published in 1997. The book captivated the spiritual approach to diet, suggesting that eating less was in accordance with Christ's own victim and would allow people to lose much more success through prayer and moderation.
Many Christian churches advocated the use of the first Shamblin book and was invited to speak throughout the country. Soon they became her opportunity to prosalytize and create her own church, in 1999, a residual social church. Since the foundation of the residual community in Tennessee, the Church has established more than 100 chapters. It was accused of being a cult. These accusations were based on Shamblin's interpretation of the Gospel and how she and the leaders of other churches were supposed to behave against the congregants. DoctrinalDisputes come from the liquidation of Christian whirls that believe in the Holy Trinity. They argue that the residual community is an incorrect interpretation of the trio and is specifically non -neutrinitic.
Another complaint in terms of doctrine is the assertion of Shamblin and the residual community that people are immersed in sin unless they adhere to its teachings. She accused some Christians of being corrupt. Some opponents pointed out that her speaking in churches before creating her own ministry is not in line with the Christian belief in fair trading and openness, as she requested members from other churches to join it.
accusations of the behavior of the Church leaders focus around such things as the excommunication of members for questioning Shamblin's faith. But Shamblin said that members would decide to leave and that they would not force members to do what they wanted. The component also surrounds the support of the DV Church's supportOU members who were accused of murdering their son in 2003. The murder is considered to be associated with how parents who say they are innocent, disciplined their son.
Shamblin continues to perform visiting on network news and talk shows. Tyra Banks invited Shamblin to talk about her show in 2007. She also gave interviews about the The Today Show and Early Show . The gathering of a residual community continues to grow despite the accusations that have been selected against it.
