What is rumba?

Rumba refers to several Latin dance forms that are very different. Almost all Rumba Dance is to derive a sexual relationship between partners. The movements may be gentle or quite obvious, depending on the type of dancing form. The dance is highly energetic and was considered to be derived directly from the dance of African slaves from Western India and the Caribbean. Dance historians date back to the performance of this form of Rumba back at the end of the 19th century. Some movements are so suggestive and honest that the dance was often considered unacceptable in the countries that were made and was banned.

Cuban rumba requires a high degree of athletics because it is very fast. Dance is an attempt to seduce a man, while the woman was standing resistant to male spells. This form of rumba often includes thecrobatic movements such as stands, rolling and wheels, usually done by a man. To achieve sexual satisfaction, he must impress his female partner.

The second part of the Cuban rumba usually brings dancers close to each other, and the movements easily testify to sexual desire. When couples come together, there are a lot of what one can consider to be "inappropriate" contact with the body, and many movements indicate different sexual positions with a man clearly dominant. Partners are often hip on hip in dance connections. This type of form is rarely visible, with the exception of exhibitions, because it requires a large amount of space to properly perform space. Dancers are mostly apart and use a considerable amount of floor space, while performing very different acrobatic movements far apart.

Since the Cuban Rumba was considered to be inappropriate, a new dance, called Son Rumba, was a developmental. This dance is much slower at a pace and has been a traditional dance adapted for dance competitions for dances. The third Rumba, Danzon is extremely slow and sometimes seen in variants on the west coast.

Son RumbAnd he should introduce a woman, a different difference from the Cuban rumba. It is considered to be a dancing of the bedroom or "dance of love". Women's movements are deliberate and seductive when the lover deals with her bedroom, but not too fast. Dance is basically teasing until his last moments, so the man acts either awarded or aggressively. But when the male movements rush, the woman gently reflects him. In the last or two moments, female and male dance closely together, representing fulfillment.

Son Rumba was introduced to the US in the 1920s and was quite popular for some time. However, the introduction of Mambo caused Rumba to be relatively ignored until it was re -introduced in the Ballroom Dance competition with Latin dance. It is now considered an important and exciting dance to learn, and is particularly known for the presentation of the female dancer skills.
