What is Turtablism?

Turtablism is a professional term given by the artistic form of creating original music with a traditional plastic vinyl record that turns on a phonographic tablet. The most influence on the creative "DISK JOCKEYS" (DJ) spinning recorded music at dance parties at the end of 70 years. DJ-Ing is considered one of the basic pillars of urban culture, which has become called hip-hop, the others are a champion of ceremonies (MC-IN), Dance on Break and Graffiti. More popularly used slang terms describe hip-hop as a street life of scratching, rapping, breaking and marking. In fact, scratches are just one of the many physically demanding techniques of manipulating a rotating disc to change its original musical recording.

The original DJ phonograph was a disk player with two turntables, but only one audio output channel. Her drivers included slides called cross faders that allowed DJ to disappear from music on one record and fadeto the track on the opposite tablet. The recorded discs were made of hard vinyl plastic etched with irregular grooves that were direct gears of physical vibration of sound. The fine needle mounted on a loosely moving arm was watching this groove to lift microscopic vibrations and reinforced them as a sound sound. This is a musical instrument of turntablism.

One of the first tricks of pioneering DJ was to put pressure on the rotary table to stop its spin and create a "break" of silence on the musical composition. To release pressure and restore the playback of the song required considerable timing without disrupting its rhythm. PartyGoers adapted their dance of this newly established cadence of turning rhythms. Other DJs quickly discovered the technique of playing short music segments to the exact position of the beginning of this segment. The pressure release would play it.

Movement of finger when performing this technique with ryeBread resembled "scratching" itching. Given that this unique sound effect has become more popular in mainstream music, Turtablism has become simply called scratching. With acceptance and legitimacy, the aspiring DJs meant more innovative new scratching techniques and corresponding sounds. DJ equipment manufacturers also responded to the physical and sound requirements of their new use as a musical instrument rather than a simple playback device.

Important improvement of the device came with the ability to gently adjust the speed of rotation of each turntable. This meant that a musician or tournament could manually match virtually any two discs to have exactly the same rhythm. Both turntables can be played and manipulated simultaneously with greater certainty to maintain rhythmic coherence. Basic technique of BeatMatching.

When the sound is slowed or accelerated, its pitch changes. The device manufacturers therefore combined a turntable with an audio blender capable of repairing a pitch or thatOtherwise, create new additional tones. Beatmixing on such instruments has another advantage that it usually has other input channels for other music devices such as programmable digital drum machines. Digital audio processing and technology have a significant impact on Turtablism. Pressure sensitive touch software "vinyl emulation" and other applications are agents of evolution in this musical art.
