What is Wonging?
Wonging is a form of counting the card at the Blackjack tables and also for the men he was named a bit of immortality. Interestingly, however, "Stanford Wong" is not the real name of Professor Economics, who has developed the technique of Wonging. In fact, John Ferguson, the author "Professional Blackjack", who accepted the pseudoname "Wong" because it sounded mysterious. The aim is to stand on the side and calculate the progress of every "shoe" (dealer's package) until it seems that the remaining cards seem promising for the "21." finals. Then the "Wonger" moves quickly to sit in the action. Blagger on the Playerperfect Blackjack website as follows: “Although it has a perfect sense for every player, reduce the chance of losing money and of course it does, the problem is that Wonging seems to be a bit unfair to other players because it carries all the onslaught to get unfavorable ties. ”
However, there is an informal etiquette code among Wongers. The first rule is: "It is rude to put himself in a game that is already developing." Wonging escalated the endless game of reason between players and casinos. Over time, card counters have been revealed by their bets, but Wonging allows its practices to avoid patterns of complete randomness of their strategy.
Another advantage for Wonging (and the disadvantage of the bottom line of the casino) is that Wongers do not tend to lose so much money in "tuition" fees. Some HAVE casinos began to broadcast the marks: "No access to the center," but it is difficult to force in the free flowing culture of the Blackjack. Meanwhile, Stanford Wong/John Ferguson still sells books.
