Montana is Montana. Soon in his life he showed interest in sport, especially baseball, but it was supposed to be football that would receive extraordinary awards. He played football in high school before attending college at the University Notre Dame University. Initially, he was not considered a catch as a football player, especially in the first year when the famous coach Notre Dame Ara Parseghian, Steward The Team. He started on the seventh chain, and it didn't seem likely to have seen a lot of game play in his college years.
It changed dramatically when Dan Devine took over the coaching position in Notre Dame in 1974. Devine immediately saw the extraordinary gifts of Joe Montana and was at least taken away from the seventh chain and urged to come as a replacement Quarterback in several games. Joe Montana won one of his nicknames in the first few games, usually entering the games in the fourth quarter. For example, against the University of North Carolina, with a little more than five minutes of the remaining games, and North Carolina by eight points, Montana managed to end the game by winning Notre Dame and defeated the NC by seven points.
Then he will come into the game against the Air Force in the fourth quarter and down by 20 points against the team, Montana gathered to win - in the last quarter scored three landing. Although Joe Montana created several impressive victories in Notre Dame, it was only the third round. He spent most of his time in his first year on 49ers as a secondary Quarterback for Steve Debog. In 1980 he became the starting Quarterback in the middle of the season, but the overall season was insignificant in terms of victory/loss. In 1981, however, completed a regular season with an impressive 13 victories for 49ers. But that was 1982, when "magic" really happened, ejecting Joe Montan on the state of the name of the household.
at the NFC championship, against Dallas Cowboys, and six points in a row, Montana threw an impossible throw that many would consider unfortunate. Yet Dwight Clark jumped on the ball caught it in the final zone. A successful extra point kick won the game and brought 49ers to Super Bowl, where 49ers defeated Cincinnati Bengals and Montana won the Super Bowl MVP.
In the age of 80, Joe Montana would win two more Super Bowl MVP Awards, attended six for Bowls as a Quarterback (withDemý and eighth performance in 1990 and 1993). He also won all four Super Bowls, which he participated in 49ers, including victory in Super Bowls XXIII and XXIV. The injury in 1991 forced Montana to miss the 1991 season, and his work as a starter was devoted to Steve Young. Instead of staying with 49ers, Montana signed with the Chiefs of Kansas City in 1993 and play part of the 1993 season and most of the 1994 season, including play -off performances, where the chiefs lost to Miami Dolphins.
In 1995, Joe Montana returned to San Francisco to officially announce his retirement, and although many of his records of that time were overcome, some of them were still his 49 -foster Steve Young, still holding an extremely special place in the hearts of football fans. He remains the only player to win three MVP awards in Super Bowl, and is associated with "gold" days 49ers when they switched from a simple football team to good champions.
