What are different types of human nerves?
There are three main types of human nerves in the body: sensory nerves, motor nerves and spinal nerves. These types of human nerves are distinguished by each other on the basis of their neurons. Neurons are nerve cells that respond to external stimuli electrically and chemically signaling cells in the central nervous system. Each network of nerves has a clear function. Sensory neurons are activated by external inputs. For example, when a person touches the coarse material, sensory nerve cells transmit electrical pulses to the central nervous system and brain, where the pulses are interpreted as a perception of roughness. These nerves are the only human nerves that respond to physical sensory perception, such as light and darkness, noise, heat and texture.
Motor nerves are human nerves that control voluntary movements. These nerves come from bdéště or spinal cord and innervate or provide nerves, all muscles in the body. Motor nerves work by sending impulses from the brain or spinal cord to the muscles. SuchImpulses cause muscles to expand or withdraw, and then facilitate movement.

spinal cords are also called mixed nerves because they combine sensory function of sensory nerves and movement function of transport nerves. The human backbone column contains 31 pairs of these nerves. In human anatomy, every pair of mixed nerves connects the spine with part of the body and has its own subcategory. Cervical nerves provide movement and feeling of neck and arms. The thoracic nerves help in breathing. The lumbar nerves are spinal cords that stimulate the legs. Sacral nerves make digestive easeand reproductive processes by innervate bladder, intestines and reproductive organs.
Mixed nerves are able to serve two functions because they branch into two roots: the other composed of sensory fibers and the other composed of motor fibers. The nerve root made of sensory fibers transmits information related to perception, such as the view, touch and smell from the body to the spinal cord. The roots of the motor nerve send pulses from the spine to the muscles. The binary nature of the spinal nerves means that their purpose overlaps with motor nerves and sensory nerves.
