What are the skeletal system divisions?
Axial skeleton and appendicular skeleton are two skeletal system divisions. The bones of the skull, hyoid and middle ear bones are in the axial system. The axial skeleton also includes bone chest and vertebral column. The bones of the limb, hip bones and shoulder beams form a blind skeleton. In the bones of the limbs are bones of the fingers and feet.
Human bodies are made of a total of 206 bones. These bones are known as a skeletal system. The skeletal system is a body frame and provides support and protects the organs in the body. There are two parts of the skeletal system called axial and appendicular skeletons. Each of these two divisions is found in separate parts of the body.
Bones in the skull Axial skeleton are classified into two groups: facial and skull bones. As one of the divisions of the skeletal system, the axial skeleton consists of bones of head, neck and spine. The cavities filled with air, called cavities, are found through some skull bones. Bone called Hyoid, located in the throat, holds the tongue in place and in the mediumThere are three bones. The vertebrae are bones that are stacked to create a spine that leads from the back of the skull into the pelvis.
different types of bones are found in both skeletal system divisions and are categorized based on their size and shape. Long bones are found in the arms and legs. There are also short bones such as those found in ankles and wrists. Cranial bones are flat bones. The vertebrae in the backbone column are called irregular bones because they are not shaped as other types of bones, nor is any vertebrae identical to others.
System bones are generally not part of any of the skeletal system divisions. The exception is Kneecap. While rare to find slutoid bones with individual people, everyone has Kneecaps. Bones called sutural bones are small bones found in the joints sewing between the skulls.
Although the skeletal sys divisionThe same consists of bones, there are other aspects that work with the skeletal system. The muscle system is one of these aspects. This system is made of muscles and connecting parts such as cartilage, tendons and ligaments. The joints allow you to move some connected bones.
