What is a closed circulatory system?

The closed circulatory system is a circulatory system for blood where blood is closed in individual blood vessels maintained under pressure to force it to flow to all corners of the body. People and other vertebrates have such circulation and some other animals. On the other hand, in the open circulation, the fluid called Hemolymph moves freely all over the body and bathes organs to supply nutrients and take away the waste away. Closed circulatory systems tend to be more efficient and allow animals to achieve larger size. Nutrients and oxygen cross the walls of the blood vessels for supply to individual cells, while cellular waste is taken back to remove from the body. Among others, a separate fluid, lymph circulates. Lymphanely swims in the interstitial fluid between the cells, rather than directed to specific blood vessels such as blood.

The closed circulatory system may vary slightly between different animals. Some animals have in their heartsTwo or three chambers instead of four and can have a simpler network of vessels. In all cases, the key element is a closed nature, while blood does not flow freely throughout the body. The system allows fast and efficient transport of oxygen, nutrients and waste. The pressure created in the blood vessels forces blood up into the head and also makes sure it reaches the end of the limbs, provides fingers and fingers with blood supply.

Some organs require more or less blood than other and the closed circulation system allows blood to be directed exactly where it must go. For example, the liver needs stable blood supply and a way to eliminate waste, and has its own devoted vein and artery to meet these needs. The rich network of capillaries spreads on this organ to make sure it is operated by the circulatory system.

Problems with a closed circulation system may include loss of blood pressure leading to tissue death, obstacles in blood vessels that reduce circulation or main vessel injuries, causing rapid blood loss anddeath if they are not solved. Cardiovascular health is an important health problem and patients are usually evaluated at each visit to the doctor to check unusual sounds of the heart, limbs and other signs that the circulatory system does not work properly.
