- "Less and More" is a retrospective exhibition on the theme of Rams' products for Lark and Vitsoe.
- First exhibitions in Japan in 2008 and 2009 were held at the Suntory Museum in Osaka and the Fuchu Art Museum in Tokyo.
- From September 2009 to March 2010, he exhibited at the Design Museum in London, UK. One was on display at the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, Germany, until September 5, 2010.
- Rams gradually perfected the system design method in practice and extended it to furniture and even architectural design, making the entire space methodical, strict and simple, which became one of the design features of Germany.
- The formless features of the system design, which are called "reduction styles", are neutral in color: black, white, and gray. Rams believes that pure style is just the result of solving system problems, providing maximum efficiency and "clearing the chaos of society", he said: The best design is the least design. Therefore, the design theory community became a "new functionalist".
- Rams's design style and concept are important for today's Apple computer products and their designers.
