What is the front mediastinum?
Front mediastinum is first part of the mediastin, a collection of structures found between the head and abdomen. There are two other divisions, middle mediastinum located in the middle and rear mediastinum located at the back. The front mediastinum is closely assembled in its front, but starts to expand a little as it travels down.
As part of one of the chambers of the body known as the thoracic cavity or thoracic cavity, the mediastinum is where the organs such as trachea or trachea, heart and esophagus are found. It is located between the right and left parts of the pleural cavity that surrounds the lungs. There are two parts of the mediastinum: the upper part called the superior mediastinum and the lower part.
Specifically, the front mediastinum is part of the mediastino of the lower part. Like the other two divisions, the front mediastinum contains some body components, such as some free connective tissues and lymphatic vessels, two or three lymph nodes and some branches of the inner thoracic arteries. In infants and children contains this interPleural space also thy thy-fought glandular organ known for generating T cells. However, the organization begins with atrophy as one ages, and leaves only the lower end of adulthood.
Front mediastinum has four main boundaries. The front part is bound by the thoracic bone, which is a long flat T -shaped plate that connects the ribs. Also, the binding of the front is also a fibrous plate called Transversus Thoracis Muscle and three costume cartilage that allows ribs to move forward. The bone cartilage that borders the front mediastinum is the fifth, sixth and seventh on the left side. On the back of the front mediastina is a pericardium, which is a strong enclosure that contains the heart. The side limit of the structure consists of a pleural cavity.
It is behind the front mediastinum is the middle mediastinum and the rear mediastinum. The middle mediastinum is the widest of the three sections. It consists of a pericardium and a cover contents such as withRDCE, pulmonary veins and arteries, rising aorta and French nerves. Behind the middle mediastin is the rear mediastinum, which is described as a triangular space. It contains part of the descending aorta, a vein that runs on the sides of the thoracic vertebral column, and the vagus and the spanching nerves.
