What is the pectineal line?

The pectineal line is a slim bony ridge or a thin line of elevated bone, located in two places in the human body. One of the brands of the ridge, called the femoral pectineal line, is located along the upper part of the femur bone, also called thighs. The second increased line, pectin pubis, is located on the flat part of the hair of hair known as the superior Ramus. Both pectineal lines are connected by a flat rectangle of muscle called pectineus muscle, a strong inner thigh muscle responsible for the hip flexion.

The raised bone ridge, which forms the femoral pectineal line, is also called the intermediate ridge of the thigh bone. It starts on the bone of the femur at a smaller trochanter, bony wounds located directly below the back of the thigh bone neck and continues to the part of the thigh bone called Linea Aspecter. The bony ridge Linea Aspera is a place where many of the large thigh muscles, the aductor of the aductor magnus, adductor brevis and aductor longus are connectedny to the bone of the femur. This femoral pectineal line ranges from the smaller trochanter to about a quarter of the length of the femoral bone before switching to Linea Aspera.

Pectineal pubis, also known as Pectin Pubis, is located just above the Opurator Foromens, which are two small holes created by pelvic bones located on the lower part of the skeletal structure. The increased bony line across the upper part of the Horno Ramus, which forms the upper part of the foramen grinder, is the Pectinal Line of Pubis, from which the muscle muscles of the Pectineu originates. Pectineus's muscle travels between Tubercurs' protrusions to pubic hair and ilipectineal eminence, an anatomical intersection of pubic hair and a large bone of the pelvis.

Another function of the Pectineal Pubis line is to form a part of the Iliopectine line on the pelvic bones. When the pectineal line connects to the arc line that begins on the lower side of the ilium bone, if they formnii division separating the major pelvis and pelvis called the ilipectineal line. In the identification and diagnosis of abnormalities of the pelvic area, an anatomical resolution between the pelvis and the marice pelvis is useful.
