What is perirhinal bark?

Perirhinal cortex is an area in the brain of mammals, which lies adjacent to the hippocamp, lined on one side of the entorhinal bark and on the other side of the parahippocampal bark. It is located in the middle time lobe and is commonly associated with memory and recognition.
