What is a splen bending?

Splenic bend is a sharp bend between the transverse large intestine and descending large intestine in the human belly. This bend is simply part of the normal colon structure. Problems sometimes occur with this area, which are often diagnosed as splen syndrome. This part of the large intestine may also spread due to other basic health problems.

The large intestine is about the other side in the abdomen. On the right side is an ascending large intestine, which travels on the abdomen to the liver bend or bend that connects this part of the large intestine to the transverse large intestine, which stretches over the abdomen to blend bend. From there the descending large intestine travels on the left side of the body. Splenic bending is also referred to as the left Kolice bend, but acquires its common name from its vicinity to the spleen.

Spenic bends syndrome is often diagnosed when gas is captured in the area. This can cause extreme pain and discomfort and is sometimes wrong with heart painA heart attack due to its location in the upper abdomen. Treatment and even the diagnosis of this syndrome is still discussed and is often treated differently depending on the opinion of the doctor's treatment. Some doctors believe that the syndrome is part of the irritating bowl syndrome, while others believe it is a separate syndrome. Treatment differs from elevated fiber in diet to prescription of antispasmodic drugs to calm the muscle.

6 Possible causes of distension are infections such as tuberculosis or amebiasis, inflammation of ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, twisting the large intestine or obstacles, which could be the result of cancer. Diagnosis usually requires a form of abdominal X -ray or dual resonance.

As well as splenic flexion syndrome, distance can cause great pain with possible other symptoms of fever, fast heart rate and tangible mass in the abdomen. Treatment includes resolutionBasic causes and decompression with rectal tube, colonoscopy or occasionally surgery.

Splenic bending does not have its own specific function, but is an important part of the large intestine as a whole. It helps to move the substances through the large intestine and can cause great discomfort when normal function is defended. These problems can sometimes be difficult to determine when they appear, but many of them are treatable.
