What is the human vascular system?
The human vascular system, commonly referred to as a circulatory system, helps transporting much -needed nutrients and blood to different parts of the body. The system that consists of heart, lungs, veins, arteries and various other ingredients is vital to survival. Several systems are included in the human vascular system, including cardiovascular and lymphatic systems. The heart gets deoxygenated blood from Vena Cava and processes it through the right hall and the right chamber. The deoxygenated blood is then pumped into the pulmonary artery where it travels to the lungs.
After processing the lungs, blood returns to the heart of the lung vein. At this point, the blood is oxygenated and enters the left atrium of the heart, passes through the left ventricle and is pumped into the aorta. The aorta transmits oxygenated blood and all ties contained in the blood, to the rest of the body through the blood vessel system. System circulation includes different veins and arteries. It also includes capillaries that branch into the organs of the human body to give them nutrient -rich blood.
different veins are part of the human vascular system. The veins usually transmit deoxygenated blood from the organs and to the heart for processing into oxygenated blood. This includes a jugular vein located in the throat and also the kidney veins leading from the kidneys. Other veins include iliakal veins, hepatic veins and subclavian veins.
arteries usually carry oxygenated blood from the heart and help pass it on different organs of the human body. The only exception is the pulmonary artery, which is used to transport deoxygenated blood to the lungs for further processing. Examples of arteries that are part of the human vascular system include carotids, subclavian and celiac arteries. Other arteries include iliac artery and coronary artery.
In addition to the cardiovascular and system circulatory system, the lymphatic system also serves an important role as part of the human vascular system. The lymphatic system helps to distribute lymphs, the samest blood, throughout the body. The lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system of the human body, consists of lymph nodes and lymphocytes.
