How complicated is the connection of the telephone socket?

Connecting the phone with a new socket and telephone line can be as simple as calling a local telephone company to install a network interface device and then independently run wires. The network interface device is a small box that is mounted on the outside of the building for the location of the telephone connection. Connecting a new phone line means running the phone wire from your phone to the box. The phone socket creates a socket where the wire can be connected to the wall somewhere between the indoor phone and the outdoor box. The type of telephone socket type will depend on the type of phone connection used. The registered jack (RJ) 11 is the most commonly used modular telephone connector, even in areas outside the US. Some other types of registered jacks are RJ14, RJ21 and RJ48. RJ11 Jack determines a two -wire connection, while RJ14, RJ21 and RJ48 Jacks refer to four, six and eight wires, respectively.

The

connection of the telephone socket works with registered connectors to determine the consistent type of connection. For residential telephone sockets, the telephone conductor consists of four wires or two sets of two wires. Each set of two wires corresponds to one telephone line. In other words, a one -time configuration will require the connection of two of the four wires. This process is simplified by colored wires, while red and green wires represent the primary telephone line.

6 green and red primary telephone lines will be connected to green and red screws. To connect the secondary line, black and yellow wires should be connected to green and red screws. The phone sockets are available to clarify color codes and conversions between different cable types.

The British connection of the telephone socket is similar in the US in the fact that RJ11 is the most common type of phone connection. The real connector at the end of the RJ11 cable differs in Britain than in the American version, which ismakes it incompatible. The connection of the telephone socket in other parts of the world can also be similar to the US as regards involvement, but the design of real plugs and outlets is very different.
