What is a digital flow meter?
Digital flow meter is the type of sensor that is used to determine the amount of liquid that moves the tube. The most basic flow meter uses mechanical gears that move when the fluid begins to flow. In contrast, digital flow meters do not use moving parts to collect and display information about the flow of fluid. This lack of moving parts allows the digital flow meter to be more accurate and resistant than the traditional flow meter. The measured fluid can be a liquid such as water or gas like air. Digital flow meters are common in commercial and scientific fields. For example, a restaurant or bar could use a flow meter to monitor the daily amount of a certain drink and a laboratory could use a flow meter to measure the gas level for experiment.
digital flow meters will use how many movements of fluids are around the sen.sor. One of the common variations is the digital magnetic flow meter, ZNalso as a MAG flow meter. The MAG flow meter uses two magnetic coils located on the opposite sides of the tube. When the liquid moves through the tube, the flow interact with the magnetic field and creates a tension. The voltage level is measured digitally and corresponds to the flow speed inside the pipeline.
Another type of digital flow meter uses ultrasound to determine the flow speed. Two ultrasonic converters are located on the contradictory sides of the tube, pointing together. One of these converters produces an ultrasonic pulse that is detected by the opposite converter. The fluid flowing in the tube causes ultrasonic sound waves to change the speed. By digital time measurement that requires the acceptance of ultrasonic pulse, the amount of fluid moving on the tube can be calculated.
Digital flow meters can interpret in several ways. Basic meters simply display the flow information on digitalReading that can be read operators. More advanced digital flow meters can be connected to other pieces of hardware. For example, in an automated device, a digital flow meter can be directly connected to a valve that can limit or increase the flow depending on the data. Digital flow meters can also be recorded for checking operators later.
