What is the dimmer DMX?

Digital multiplex (DMX) is a method and technology used by the stage professionals and lighting to control lighting tools. Although it is most commonly used for stage lighting, buildings with central lighting control are often used by DMX technology to manage their lights. On the DMX console means the presence of DMX Dimmer Technology technology that is able to turn on and turn off the light tool and the ability to control the light intensity and speed with which it occurs. Dimmers can be hardware or software and can be controlled manually or automatically and are similar to the appearance as sliding faders used on audio control interfaces.

DMX Dimmer can be a separate device that is connected to the DMX string. It can also be part of a larger DMX interface. DMX can appear on the hardware and virtual interface brackets. Some interfaces allow control both via virtual dimmer on your computer monitor and via hardware dimmer,which user can move with his hands. Other interfaces allow the user to program automated DMX controls.

Dimmery

DMX are most often seen in the lighting of events, which generally means clubs, parties and performances. Any DMX lighting interface with the dimmer control has a dimmer DMX. Not every light works with DMX dimmer, so not all lighting interfaces based on DMX have dimmers DMX. Without a dimmer DMX, the user can usually turn on and off only the lighting tools and should not apply more complex lighting controls such as fading or dimming lights.

Controls of lighting without dimmer DMX are most often seen in moving lights, such as those seen in the dance club. Sometimes the club lights have their own set of controls on the lighting tool itself. This allows the designer lighting to program the light patternY and settings of changes while it has access to light, but this setup does not allow changes in light patterns after the light is mounted out of reach.

DMX technology is popular for show lighting because it is a reliable form of lighting control, which is important when performing performances. It offers much greater reliability than other lighting control methods such as Ethernet or wireless control. Due to its reliability, the DMX is the main type of technology used for performance lighting. Even small places usually used some form of DMX technology to control its lights. Many dance clubs also used DMX lighting technology to provide its clubs with a unique atmosphere.
