What is a droid phone?

In the strictest sense, the droid phone is any mobile phone used by the Android mobile operating system. There may be some confusion for the public because Verizon Wireless ™ owns a droid phone. Open Source Platform unique for Android makes droid phones different from other smartphones, because users have a greater ability to customize their headphones using different internal and web technologies. Google bought Android Inc. in 2005. Two years later, Google helped create Alliance Open Masets, a collection of more than sixty leading companies in the mobile phones that helped develop and launch the Android platform for public use. The alliances included Google, Motorola, T-Mobile and HTC. The first phone that uses Android software, HTC Dream, debuted at the end of 2008. The first phone that legally uses the Droid brand, Motorola Droid, launched at the end of 2009.

Android Technology has evolved from Linux Coernel Open software. Since the beginning of the 90's Linux, Linux has specialized in operating systems with open source code that every developer could add, develop and mutate. This open approach made it easy to modify Linux products to new technologies as well as the user's personal preferences. Android was launched by Open Masset Alliance as a means of bringing such technology to a mobile phone. This makes the Droid Phone a unique alternative to other smartphones like iPhone.

While many smartphone interfaces have limited capacity for adaptation, the Android interface is left to user imagination and technology. For example, only one application can be started on many smartphones. On the droid phone, however, the user can not only run multiple applications, but the instrument is to communicate with each other.
