The Game Boy® is a video game pocket console that is credited as the longest video game system of all time. The console was developed by Gunpei Yokoi of Nintendo Japan, released in the US in 1991. After its release, it was tied to the game tetris and since the time it was hit by the shelf, it was the best -selling. Over the years, the console has developed both in technology and design, but it is still the number one seller of the video game pocket system until it was closed in 2008. When the system proved to be immediate success, Nintendo did not waste time reworking the console and the ten -year range between the original release and the Game Boy® Advance released The Game Boy® Pocket and The Game Boy® Color. The original model was interrupted in 2003, but to this point it had a 32 -bit16.78 MHz CPU deposit, color display and 240x160 pixels.

Console remained the best seller in 10 years and was ready to jump into new OBLasti. Game Boy® Advance has received some design criticism, especially in terms of rear lighting, and Nintendo dealt with this joint complaint with the release of Advance SP in 2003. This model was redesigned twice, with the release of SP and 2005 by Game Boy® Micro. The flush screen of the SP was a big hit and prolonged micro.

Although Game Boy® has evolved, Nintendo has successfully solved consumer needs by allowing each system to support previous game titles. Super Mario Land and Pokemon Red and Blue were the best -selling game titles of the system of 14 million and 11 million. The company has released Nintendo DS ™, another manual hinge that supported previous titles in 2004. Nintendo DS ™ is a dual-button gaming system and stylus controls and can display 3-D graphics. This system was also upgraded with the release of Nintendo 3DS ™ in 2011.
